Mini Kalimba for Decent Sampler
Welcome to my first foray into sampling!
This is a sample library created for Decent Sampler. I decided to start small with a mini kalimba (thumb piano).
5 round robin layers, 8 samples in the original octave and artificially extended an octave above and below for a full 3 octave range.
Sampled with a contact piezo pickup and two microphones for a range of tones, with a built-in mixer to adjust to your liking.
Tuned up digitally to be pitch perfect, I've also added an adjustable algorithmic reverb and a tone knob to roll off some of the high end if desired.
Almost better than the real thing!
Note: You will need the free Decent Sampler VSTi plugin from DecentSamples.com to use this library.
Update: v1.1 now available! All automatable parameters are now labelled for easy use in a DAW.
